Zuckerberg says he’s ready to fight and that Elon keeps making things up

Recently, in an interview with The Atlantic, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg made waves in the tech world when he aggressively defended his company and shot back at Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

The latest feud between the two tech giants began after Musk criticized Facebook for allegedly failing to manage its platform to protect users from having their data sold and manipulated. In response, Zuckerberg told The Atlantic, “I think what Elon is doing is pretty irresponsible. He’s making wild accusations without any evidence … He keeps making things up.”

This isn’t the first time the two moguls have traded barbs. Last year, Musk said in an interview that Facebook “is probably the only major tech company that is not generally supportive of an open-source ethos.”

Zuckerberg hit back, saying, “I don’t believe there is any company that comes close to leading in open-source software. We’re the biggest investor in open-source software and most projects.”

It appears they’re now locked in a rather heated battle. Zuckerberg said he is “ready to fight” claims about Facebook’s conduct. He also pointed out that “there are people in the world who just want to fight,” and said he was likely going to be opposing Musk very soon.

It’s unclear what their fight may boil down to, but one thing is for certain: Zuckerberg is getting tired of the constant criticisms at Facebook and is not afraid to confront Musk. Will it lead to further developments, or will one of them be the first to throw in the towel? Only time will tell.
