Mark Zuckerberg says it’s ‘time to move on’ from the Elon Musk fight

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and founder of Facebook, recently spoke out on the ongoing feud between Facebook and Elon Musk. In an interview with Axios, Zuckerberg voiced his displeasure at the ongoing conflict between the two companies, stating that it was time to “move on” from the quarrel.

The feud between Facebook and Musk began when the Tesla and SpaceX CEO proclaimed his company would no longer accept advertisements from Facebook. This was in response to allegations that Facebook was not doing enough to stop the spread of misinformation on the platform. Musk then went on to criticize Facebook even further, referring to it as a “wild beast” that needs to be tamed.

In his recent interview, Zuckerberg expressed his disappointment with the ongoing feud, stating that he would “rather not participate in these fights” and that “it’s time to move on.” He also noted that it was not productive for either company to be constantly criticizing each other and that it may be best to “move on.”

The conflict between the two companies has had an effect on both their reputations, and Zuckerberg argued that allaying the tension and focusing on products instead of attacking each other may be a better approach. Even though the exchange of harsh words may still continue, the end of the feud may be approaching. With more intelligence, firms like Tesla and Facebook can get back to focussing on innovating and creating new technologies, restoring their reputations and removing the public tension.

Overall, Zuckerberg’s call for peace signals a possible end to this protracted dispute. With tensions rising and rumors of lawsuits, a peaceful resolution may be the best option going forward. Whether or not this is the case, only the future will tell.
