Until recently, though, Roku didn’t offer any sort of news content. Fortunately, that is changing as the company has made strides to add more and better news content to its ever-growing platform.

The new “Roku Channel”, which is available on most Roku devices, offers viewers a “News” section with a wide range of news outlets to choose from. Viewers can choose from more than 200 different news sources, including both local and international news outlets. Some of the options include Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, BBC World News, and many more.

The Roku Channel also features a “Free for All” section which includes a curated selection of free news content. This section includes content from top news organizations like the Associated Press, The New York Times, and Reuters. It also provides access to news videos from many different sources, including Canada’s Global News and Australia’s ABC News. These videos are updated daily and offer viewers a new selection of news stories each day.

In addition, Roku announced an exciting new feature for news junkies – channels dedicated to live news programming. These live news channels include Fox News Live, BBC Global News Live, and CNN Live. This allows viewers to keep up with the latest news as its reported.

The Roku Channel provides an easy and convenient way for viewers to get their news fix. With all the different news sources and content available, viewers can easily find what they’re looking for. In addition, viewers can stay up to date with the news by watching live news programming, or by checking out the “Free for All” section.
