Dungeons & Dragons is an iconic movie and a powerful comedy based on the popular fantasy role-playing game. When it was released in 2000, Dungeons & Dragons received mixed reviews, but more recently is being re-evaluated in a much more positive light.

Thora Birch performs excellently as Princess Savina, while afforded the opportunity to do her best against some of the best comedic actors of the time. Sir Nigel (Jeremy Irons) is also a standout, with some of the funnier lines in the movie, not to mention his mere presence.
The visuals in Dungeons & Dragons are also excellent, making the magical realm believable enough to suspend disbelief and get fully immersed in the experience. The movie is also entertaining even more than two decades after its release, which is a testament to its timeless humor and story elements.
