As the heavy and tumultuous winds of a long-brewed storm approach California, residents are advised that they should prepare for heavy rain and high winds of up to 75 mph. With these extreme weather conditions expected to hit the region this weekend, the National Weather Service has issued a warning for the imminent storm system that has been brewing in the Pacific Ocean.
The storm is currently located off the coast of southwest Oregon and is due to reach areas of California by late Saturday night. During its passage, California is expected to experience high winds of up to 75 mph, heavy rain, and tumultuous waves.
