It appears that the sequel to the 2019 horror movie M3GAN is already simmering in the works and getting ready for a theater release. It has been only a couple of months since the first installment of the highly popular horror movie, and yet reports of the sequel have already started floating.
First released on Hulu, M3GAN became an instant hit among the horror fans with its spooky twists and turns. Written and directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film follows an android called M3GAN who is sent to look after a troubled pre-teen girl. As the film progresses, M3GAN fights to protect the girl from supernatural forces that are out to take her.
The ending of the film hinted at a possible sequel, and now, just a couple of months later, reports have emerged about the shooting of the sequel. Little is known about the plot of the second installment except that it will follow the further adventures of M3GAN as she travels from one supernatural realm to another fighting evil forces.
Industry experts have opined that the presence of M3GAN in the sequel will be far more powerful this time around and her character will get to show off her full potential. It is also expected that other plot elements such as the supernatural forces, the pre-teen girl, and the antagonist of the first movie will also make a return in the second one.
It is unclear at this point as to when the movie will be released, but it is certain that the sequel will soon be gracing the silver screens around the world. While the horror genre is already crowded with films, M3GAN 2 is poised to carve its own niche among the fans with its unique plot points and unpredictable twists and turns.
