When the air turns crisp and the leaves begin to fall, there’s no better time than Halloween to treat yourself to a getaway. This year, fans of Disney Parks, Universal Studios, and other destinations around the world can rejoice as a variety of spooktacular events have been announced for the holiday season.
At Disney, guests of all ages can take part in special Halloween activities at the various parks. Disney’s Magic Kingdom turns into a spooktacular experience with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This family-friendly event features tasty treats, trick-or-treating, and special entertainment. At the Disneyland Resort in California, guests can get their fright on at the Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy. Not to be outdone, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be decked out in special fall décor and launching their own Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which promises plenty of eerie thrills.
Universal Studios is getting in the Halloween spirit as well. At Universal’s Islands of Adventure, guests can discover the mysteries of the Mystical Woods. Elsewhere on the park, The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman ride will be more spine-tingling than ever! Meanwhile, over at Universal Studios Hollywood, the “Halloween Horror Nights” event terrifies guests in the ultimate way. Universal’s immersive mazes, horror shows, and rides come to life in this frightening evening of fright.
Meanwhile, Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California will be offering multiple scare attractions. Throughout the month of October, guests can embark on a journey through the haunted maze Dead of Winter or experience Scare Zones complete with ghouls, ghosts, and monsters. Plus, festive activities such as the scavenger hunt Ghost Town Haunt Dispatch and a family-friendly Not-So-Spooky Halloween Dance Party will be sure to delight all ages.
Finally, Legoland’s Brick or Treat Halloween Celebration brings Halloween fun to Florida and California. Designed specifically for kids, this event offers Halloween-themed LEGO building activities, costume contests, and trick-or-treating through the park.
