Diablo fans were delighted today to hear the official announcement of Diablo 4’s first season: Season of Blood. With a new trailer accompaning the announcement, fans can expect a gore filled season full of vampiric attacks and more demonic foes.
Season of Blood starts on March 26th and will bring with it an array of new features for fans to explore. From a new specialization to Blood Shards, which can be earned by playing the game, players will be given tons of new ways to customize their characters and playstyles. On top of the new content, players can also look forward to loads of in-game rewards, including brand new cosmetic items.
Perhaps the most exciting feature of the upcoming season is the introduction of vampiric attacks. This new combat mechanic will allow players to suck away their enemies’ health, turning them into a vampire themselves. Enemies that are sufficiently weakened can be even more terrifying, as their attacks are stronger and they can’t be killed outright anymore.
