How Much Star Wars Do You Need to Watch Before Ahsoka?

Do you want to become a great Star Wars fan? One of the best ways to show your passion is by watching as much of the franchise as you can. So, how much of the Star Wars saga must you watch before you finally see Ahsoka Tano, the beloved former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker?

Ahsoka Tano is introduced in the Star Wars animated series “The Clone Wars,” and this show is where you’ll find her first appearance. To watch this animated series, you will need to watch the movies “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” and “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.” This series takes place after the prequel movie trilogy and follows Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka as they fight together in the Clone Wars.

If you want a taste of Ahsoka’s early adventures before she’s recruited to be Anakin’s Padawan, then you must watch the second season of the series. However, if you want to watch the entire series from the beginning to the very end, then the recommended order is to start with “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace,” then watch the rest of the prequel trilogy before continuing with “The Clone Wars.”

For those already familiar with the Star Wars saga, “The Clone Wars” takes off around the halfway point in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. Since it is a long series, Ahsoka doesn’t make her debut until around episode 5 of the series. That being said, you should plan on watching around 40-50 episodes of The Clone Wars before you can watch Ahsoka make her debut as Anakin’s Padawan.

Whether you’re a new fan or a veteran fan of Star Wars, Ahsoka is definitely a character you don’t want to miss out on. With that in mind, it’s best to make sure you have seen enough of the Star Wars saga before delving into the world of Ahsoka. So, grab some popcorn and a comfy chair, put in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” and get ready to take the journey to watch Ahsoka Tano in all her glory!
