Twitch just made it a little easier to qualify for the Partner Plus program

Twitch, the streaming platform that has helped individuals build lucrative careers, has just made it easier for would-be partners to qualify for their Partner Plus program. The program, Twitch’s highest badge of membership, offers its members exclusive features and content such as early access to upcoming features, additional revenue opportunities, and the ability to customize their channel interfaces.

Up until now, the requirements to qualify for the Partner Plus program were well-defined but rather difficult to achieve. The streaming platform had some high standards in terms of viewers and dedicated subscribers that were necessary to meet. Twitch has now made some significant changes to these requirements in order to open up the Partner Plus program to more aspiring streamers.

Under the new requirements, streamers will only need an average of 20,000 concurrent viewers, or 1,500 subscribers, or 8,000 qualified views each month — all of which can be achieved with consistent effort and dedication. This change makes it easier for those who want to become successful streamers to qualify for the program and gain access to even more lucrative opportunities.

While this change opens the door for more aspiring streamers to join the Partner Plus program, Twitch still maintains some stringent standards — such as high-quality content and an active community. To ensure these standards are met, Twitch still requires streamers to maintain a good standing on the website by avoiding violations of the site’s TOS and community guidelines.

Despite this, Twitch has made it much easier for streamers to qualify for the Partner Plus program and given aspiring streamers everywhere a more realistic chance at entering the program. This change has helped many aspiring streamers, and we can expect to see more and more joining the Partner Plus program in the near future.
