Batman returns in new Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League trailer

It appears that Batman may be making a surprise return in the upcoming DC Comics video game, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. A new trailer has just been released that appears to show a dark menacing figure all too familiar to DC Universe fans – Batman.

The trailer opens up with flashes of various clips featuring some of the game’s main characters: Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang. Then, amidst all the chaos and destruction, a dark figure looms in the background, watching over the action and seemingly ready for anything. It’s unmistakably Batman who, it appears, has been captured by Waller and her Suicide Squad, and has been brought back to face the team in the game.

The character’s return is being hailed as an interesting move from the game’s developers, as Batman’s return would mark the first time that the character has appeared in a Suicide Squad game since the critically acclaimed Arkham Origins game released in 2013.

The trailer also teases an epic showdown between the Suicide Squad and a formidable new enemy. The enemy’s identity is as of yet unknown, although one can assume it will be a powerful villain or villainous organization.

Regardless, with Batman’s return being teased and a formidable threat forming, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is quickly shaping up to be an incredibly intense and action-packed experience. Whether you’re a fan of Batman or a fan of Suicide Squad, this game is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is set for release sometime in 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Are you excited for Batman’s return in the game? Let us know in the comments below!
