The classic first-person shooter game GoldenEye 007 is joining the Nintendo Switch family this month. It’s been over 25 years since Goldeneye 007 brought the popular James Bond franchise to the video game console, and the game is finally being updated to the Nintendo Switch with a modern-day makeover.
In addition to the classic game mode, GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo Switch will feature an all-new game mode called “GoldenEye Reloaded.”
GoldenEye Reloaded will allow you to play the classic game with major graphical upgrades, such as higher resolutions, improved textures, and better lighting effects. The levels have also been altered in order to better fit the modern-day consoles. Higher frame rates, improved performance, and sharp new visuals will make the experience of the game even more engaging and immersive.
The game’s multiplayer has also received an update, with an extra four-player mode available. GoldenEye Reloaded will also include a brand new story mode. This mode takes you deep into the British Secret Service, as you play through a new story separate from the main game.
Along with the new story mode, GoldenEye Reloaded will also feature new gadgets and weapons, for a more modern Bonds experience, including laser trip mines and a watch that doubles as a way to hack security cameras and unlock secret doors.
This modern reimagining of the classic Nintendo 64 game will bring with it all the thrills and excitement of an old-fashioned Bond movie. With its enhanced visuals and refreshing take on the classic game, GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo Switch is ready to bring gaming into the world of the secret agent.
