Foldable iPad could arrive as early as next year, claims noted Apple analyst

The tech world has been abuzz with rumors of an upcoming foldable iPad set to hit store shelves as soon as next year. A noted Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, claims Apple is testing a foldable iPad prototype and that the device could launch as early as next year.

The iPad foldable design, if true, would promise an entirely new way to interact with Apple’s popular tablet. This could potentially include the ability to fold the tablet in half or use it as a stand, allowing for various viewing angles or to easily share content with multiple people.

The analyst also believes that the foldable iPad would use a display similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. This would include a 7.3-inch inner screen and a separate 6.7-inch outer display. Additionally, Apple’s upcoming foldable tablet could feature 5G and USB-C connectivity and an Apple Pencil stylus.

If Apple does indeed release a foldable iPad, it would be a huge step forward for the tech giant, with the device breaking new ground for the iPad in both the design and features sides. However, the Cupertino-based company could also draw on its experience with the Macbook and develop a product that looks and works even better.

Regardless, the news of a new and possibly groundbreaking iPad is certainly exciting and has gotten many tech enthusiasts and Apple fans alike anticipating its arrival. We will just have to wait and see if this new foldable iPad is set to become a reality or will remain a thing of the future.
