While this does provide a designated space for widgets, it requires users to switch to an entirely new screen away from their primary workspace. This can be inconvenient and disruptive, especially for those who rely on widgets for instant access to information.
Additionally, widgets on Windows 11 lack the customization options available on macOS. On a Mac, widgets can be resized, rearranged, and customized to suit individual preferences. Users can also choose from a wide variety of third-party widgets available through the Mac App Store. The level of personalization and diversity of widgets on macOS is unmatched, and Microsoft should take note.
Another area where Microsoft could learn from Apple is the integration of widgets into the overall design and aesthetics of the operating system. In contrast, the widget design in Windows 11 feels disconnected from the rest of the system, lacking the same level of polish and attention to detail.

while Windows 11 introduces some useful widget tweaks, there are still improvements that need to be made to catch up with the widget experience on macOS.
