If you’re a frequent user of the popular Twitter management tool TweetDeck, then be warned – Elon Musk may be about to ruin your Twitter experience.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO is known for his outspoken comments and ambitious plans on Twitter, and soon he could be making a major impact on TweetDeck users. According to reports, he has been quietly testing out the recently released tweet-scheduling feature.
According to insiders, the feature hasn’t been officially rolled out yet, but Musk has already been experimenting with it. With this feature, Twitter users are able to schedule their tweets in advance, allowing them to fit in more messages even when they’re busy.
For Musk, this could mean more power and reach for him to get his messages out. Already, he has more than 33 million followers and ranks amongst the most-followed accounts on Twitter. With the new scheduling option, he can further increase his reach and ensure that his followers get the latest updates immediately.
The downside to this is that it could mean that the timelines of TweetDeck users get clogged up with a barrage of messages from Musk. This could make it difficult for other Twitter users to get their own messages out on the platform.
It may still be too early to tell how this could affect users of the platform, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for what Musk is up to. If you’re a frequent user of TweetDeck, it might be a good idea to start preparing for the possibility of an onslaught of Musk tweets – because they may be coming sooner than you think.
