DC Is Bringing Its Superman Lunch and Baby Batman Manga Stateside

Today, DC Comics announced that two of its beloved series, Superman Lunch and Baby Batman, will be available in the US for the first time. Fans of the DC universe have been waiting for a long time to get their hands on these titles, and now their dreams are about to come true.

The long-running Superman Lunch series, created by writer Koichi Yokoyama, follows a middle-school-aged Clark Kent as he enjoy the food and occasional adventures of living in a small town. The series has been wildly popular in Japan since its debut in 2012, but now American readers can finally enjoy it in English.

Also making its debut in the US is the Baby Batman manga. This new manga, also written by Yokoyama, follows everyone’s favorite caped crusader in a more lighthearted tone. This series will explore the lives of baby Batman and his trusty alley cat Robin as they quest to defend their beloved Gotham City.

It’s an exciting time to be a DC Comics fan in the US. These two Japanese series have been long overdue for an American release and will be sure to delight old and new fans alike. DC Comics is continuing to push boundaries and embrace new storytelling, and it’s refreshing to see them expanding their horizons to include such delightful series. So, to all my fellow DC Comics fans, make sure to check out these new series when they release this Fall. Until then, get ready for an exciting adventure of the Man of Steel and the Dynamic Duo!
