Microsoft announced yesterday that it is launching a bold update to its copy and paste feature, which will now be available on its main operating systems. The update, which brings the feature to Windows 10 and Windows 8.1, is seen as a major move by the tech giant to improve its user experience.
However, while the update is being made available to all Windows 10 and 8.1 users, it is only available to those users on an updated version of the operating system. In other words, users with older versions of Windows 10 and 8.1 will be left out, meaning that they will not be able to fully experience Microsoft’s latest update.
The update brings with it several improvements to the copy and paste feature. Users will now have better organization features that’ll make it easier for them to categorize the files they are copying and pasting. For example, users will now be able to create folders for images, documents, and even audio files.
Also, Microsoft has improved the speed and accuracy of the copy and paste process. This will make it quicker and easier for users to copy and paste content from various sources.
All in all, this is a welcome update from Microsoft, but it’s a bit disappointing that not all Windows 10 and 8.1 users will be able to benefit from it. Nevertheless, those users who are able to upgrade their version of the operating system and enjoy the latest copy and paste update should definitely take advantage of it.
