The world of gaming these days is booming; the technology and the graphics have become so strong that players feel like they’re playing a real-life game. And this particular Xbox exclusive has done just that.
The developers of “Vvarsipel”, an Xbox game with photorealistic graphics, travelled over 2,500km to capture the exact environment and settings needed to make the game have an immersive experience. The developers created the game after they traveled alongside a production team all the way to the Ural Mountains in Russia.
The team had to capture their scenes, locations, and game environment precisely in order to make it as realistic as possible. They had to be meticulous and make sure there were no anomalies or signs of cutting corners.
The end result looks like the game was shot in a real-life environment, because of the accuracy and level of detail that has been put into the game.
Due to the nature of the game and the environment, the developers of Vvarsipel had to also consider the challenges of weather and lightning. Russian winters brought a lot of tests for the team in terms of daylight, temperature and snow. Despite all these factors, the team was determined to make sure the game met its photorealistic expectations.
The effort put in by the developing team has paid off; the game looks amazing, the level of detail is incredible and the players feel like they’re playing in a real world rather than on a Playstation.
It just goes to show that developers are willing to go to extraordinary lengths to make sure that their games meet the photorealistic standards that gamers expect these days. It’s no wonder that this Xbox game has gotten so much attention due to the commitment and effort put in by the development team.
