Microsoft’s search engine Bing is often overlooked in favor of Google, but there’s finally a reason to use Bing—Bing Rewards and the ability to get free skins in the upcoming Overwatch 2 game.
For those who are unfamiliar, Bing Rewards is a program that Microsoft has where users of Bing can “earn points” for searching, completing offers, and trying out new features and products. Once enough points are earned, you can use the points towards rewards such as gift cards and other goods from Microsoft Companies.
One of the rewards that is currently available is free Overwatch 2 skins. For those who don’t know, Overwatch 2 is a team-based first-person shooter game being developed by Blizzard Entertainment. In the game, users can customize their featured characters, and one of the ways of doing so is to purchase skins. In the original game, these skins could be acquired with in-game currency, but in the upcoming sequel, players who have Bing Rewards can now get skins for free.
To receive the reward, players have to have the latest version of Bing Rewards on their devices, and then after at least 100 points have been earned, the player will receive a notification that they’ve qualified and they can go ahead and claim their Overwatch 2 skins. The deal is only valid for a limited time, so make sure to take advantage of it before it expires.
Overall, Microsoft’s Bing Rewards being used to reward gamers with free skins for the upcoming Overwatch 2 is huge for gamers as it gives them an incentive to use Bing as their preferred search engine. With this deal, gamers now have a reason to make the switch from Google to Bing, with the reward of free skins in Overwatch 2 being too good to pass up.
