Microsoft admits Windows 11’s default apps system needs work – and changes are coming

Microsoft recently acknowledged that its Windows 11 operating system has plenty of room for improvement when it comes to its default apps system. The software giant said that it is working on changes that will likely be seen in a future update.

This acknowledgement came in response to complaints that Windows 11 is struggling to keep up with its competitors in terms of user experience. While the company has made several attempts to improve the experience of its users, many have complained that Windows 11 still lags behind the level of customer service provided by its rivals.

Microsoft’s Head of Marketing and Communications in India, Anil Uniyal, stated that the company is aware of customer feedback with regard to the user experience being offered by Windows 11, and is actively seeking ways to resolve the issues.

In addition to this, Uniyal also said that Windows 11 contains some default apps that are not as popular as others and these can create a bad impression from the start. Microsoft is keen to make the user experience better by introducing a more effective system for installing and managing the default apps. This could include curating apps better and providing easier ways for users to switch between different options.

In the coming weeks and months, users of Windows 11 should begin to notice small changes as the company starts working on fixes. These changes are likely to improve the user experience of Windows 11, as well as increase its appeal to customers.

Microsoft’s move indicates its willingness to listen to its customers regarding problems they are facing while using its products, and its commitment to resolving these issues. If successful, Windows 11 could become a much more user-friendly product, allowing it to better compete with other operating systems.
