In an effort to revolutionize the way cities manage their curbs, Automotus has just announced that they have raised $9 million in a Series A round of funding. The startup is aiming to use this money to scale their innovative automated curb management technology to more cities around the world.

Automotus, founded in 2018, develops software solutions to help cities manage and monetize their publicly owned curbsides – the space between roads and sidewalks. Their aim is to help cities increase efficiency and revenue through the use of automated technology. This includes implementing digital signs to provide real-time information about available parking spaces, adjusting prices based on demand, and collecting data to monitor and analyze results.

The startup’s newest funding round was led by Artiman Ventures and joined by a number of Silicon Valley-based venture capitalists. Automotus plans to use the money to expand their team and develop new features that can be added to their software platform. These features will mainly focus on helping cities better manage their curbsides, such as advanced reservation systems and improved analytics. Additionally, Automotus wants to further adapt its tech to different markets and create more case studies to showcase how cities can benefit from their approach.

The automated curb management technology developed by Automotus is already being used in over 200 cities around the world. This latest round of funding is aimed at helping them expand their reach even further and revolutionize the way cities manage their curbsides. With the additional resources, Automotus is poised to become the go-to solution for cities looking to manage their curbsides with maximum efficiency and profitability.
