Netflix orders its first pilot for comedy series ‘Little Sky’

It is an exciting day for Netflix subscribers and comedy television fans alike, as popular streaming giant Netflix has officially ordered a pilot for its new comedy series “Little Sky.”

“Little Sky” is the brainchild of writers-directors Justin Kurzel and Jeff Morris, and is considered to be Netflix’s first foray into developing a full-length comedy-based series for its viewers. The series is said to follow the misadventures of two tweens trying to make their way in the big city of Los Angeles. Netflix promises this show will be packed with “big laughs, wild adventures, and plenty of fun” in a city full of “glamor and grit.”

What is setting “Little Sky” apart from other shows that Netflix has already produced, is the fact that this show is being developed with the express goal of being audience-driven. Netflix plans to rely on the feedback of its subscribers to shape the show. This is new ground for the streaming giant, and could set in motion a new wave of custom-tailored viewer experience.

The pilot episode of “Little Sky” is expected to be released sometime in 2021. The show marks Netflix’s latest foray into creating and producing series that can appeal to both adults and young viewers alike. This is a new step forward for Netflix in terms of producing and developing a full-blown comedy series, and could prove to be a major success for the streaming giant.

Netflix has not confirmed any casting information for the show at this time. However, based on the description of the show, viewers can likely expect some of the biggest names in comedy to join the cast and help bring “Little Sky” to life.

It will certainly be interesting to watch how this project develops over the coming months, and whether or not it can be the success that Netflix has been waiting for. We can’t wait to see what this show has in store for us!
