Microsoft Edge teases the future via new collab tool and AutoPlay Blocking update

Microsoft Edge is continuing to prove it is the premier browser choice for users, with the rollout of two new incredibly useful features. The first of these, which is sure to be a great tool for collaborations, is the Microsoft Edge Collab, and the second is a much-needed AutoPlay blocking update.

The Microsoft Edge Collab is a feature that allows multiple people to work together on the same document from different parts of the world. It’s incredibly simple to use, with users being able to open up the collaboration window with just a click. Once the collaboration window is open, users can see the changes made by each other in real time. Not only that, but they’re also able to share their screens and chat, making it a great tool for both work and educational projects.

The second feature being rolled out with the new Microsoft Edge update is the AutoPlay blocking update. Everyone’s experienced the annoyance of videos automatically playing when you open an unfamiliar website, and the AutoPlay blocking update will end this nuisance. The update will block any web page from automatically playing videos, so you have complete control over the content you’re watching.

Both the Collab tool and the AutoPlay blocking update are offered as part of the new Microsoft Edge update, and are sure to provide a great experience for users. With this update, Microsoft Edge is continuing to prove why it is the browser of choice for many users, and why it will continue to be a leader in the web browsing space going forward.
