As millions of gamers flock to the immensely popular Call of Duty franchise, developers are doing whatever they can to ensure a fair playing field. This past week, Infinity Ward issued a statement that they had updated the game to help protect against cheating and ensure a fair experience for everyone.
In their statement, Infinity Ward reported that the latest update addresses a variety of issues, including improved accuracy with wall hacking. Wall hacking is a form of cheating that gives players an unfair advantage by allowing them to see through walls. They also mentioned the use of additional anti-cheat technology and improved detection systems to make it significantly harder to cheat in-game.
Other safeguards that were added in the update include more secure network infrastructure, improved matchmaking to better pair players who are on a similar skill level, and changes in the scoring system to prevent players from boosting their scores.
The developers also reminded gamers to be mindful of how they play the game, and to take note if something doesn’t seem right. If someone suspects that a player may be cheating, they should report them in the game’s system so they can be addressed.
It is great to see Infinity Ward taking steps to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the game, free from the limitation and frustration of cheaters. This update is just one of the many steps they are taking to make the game more enjoyable for all. By implementing these changes, we can hopefully have a safe and fun gaming experience for everybody.
