The world of fans for the legendary franchises of Star Wars and Indiana Jones just got a litte sweeter today, as toy-makers Hasbro unveiled a range of new products for their iconic annual line-up.
At Star Wars Celebration, which is the world’s largest fan-driven gathering of Lucasfilm and Star Wars fans, Hasbro certainly stepped up its game in terms of new action figures and collectibles. Highlighting the event were a range of all-new Star Wars figures, including figures from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian; as well as vintage figures and sculpts of characters from across the Galaxy.
Also making an appearance was a series of new Indiana Jones collectibles, such as the classic Adventure Heroes figures and Indy’s iconic whip and jacket.
The breadth and variety of the new Hasbro offerings goes beyond the typical assortment of basic figures, and includes a number of playsets, vehicles and locations that provide hours of playtime fun.
The new “Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Endor 3.75” figure Environment playset was a show-stopper, as were the new First Order Transport and a fully motorized AT-AT, which came complete with interchangeable armor and accessories.
Also highlighted were the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon, a wonderfully detailed and fully-realized version of the iconic vehicle, and the mighty Death Star Cannon playset, which features a variety of pop-up targets, obstacles and illuminated death “ray” canons.
For Indiana Jones fans, the exciting news included a sculpted 12 inch Indiana Jones figure, complete with authentic adventurer accessories, including Indy’s iconic rope and whip. The show also featured a number of playsets, such as the Temple Treasury playset, that can be played with or used as a display.
In summary, Hasbro certainly brought its “A” game to Star Wars Celebration, as they unveiled an exciting range of Star Wars and Indiana Jones products that are sure to please fans of all ages. Whether looking to play or to collect, the new Hasbro line-up has something for everyone.
