Ah, nothing quite compares to the joy of attending a star wars celebration. Pure excitement radiates from the experience – from the celebrity panels to the vendors selling fantastic memorabilia and theThousands of cosplayers scattered throughout the event. With so much variety and eye-catching costumes, it’s hard to take it all in at once. But now, imagine taking the star wars celebration on the road and experiencing cosplay across multiple countries!
This is exactly what a group of diehard star wars fans from across Europe did recently, embarking on a star wars celebration cosplay eurotrip. A small group of six traveled from the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany and Italy, meeting up for a shared passion for star wars cosplay in each destination.
First stop was Paris, France. Starting with one of the biggest star wars celebrations in Europe, the group enjoyed a variety of activities, from vendor booths and live panels to photo opportunities with beloved characters and interactive game shows. Even better, the group was able to mingle with fellow cosplayers, comparing costumes, taking photos and trading stories.
The group then embarked on a five-day road trip across the continent, stopping at cities such as Hamburg and Prague on the way. Along with sightseeing and experiencing the local culture, the group managed to find time to attend star wars-themed events. In Munich, they found themselves at a weekend-long fan festival, while in Berlin they stumbled upon a star wars-themed food truck.
At their final stop, they happen upon a meet-up of star wars fans at a local restaurant in Milan. The group not only had the chance to admire one another’s costumes, but also to discuss the different star wars collectors items they’d acquired throughout their journey.
Although it took a lot of organisation and commitment, this group of star wars enthusiasts is likely to remember this journey for years to come. After all, it’s not everyday you get to experience world-renowned star wars cosplay and geek out with likeminded fans across Europe.
