Twitter has been a haven for people to share their thoughts and opinions for over a decade, but recently, the platform’s most beloved feature – circles – is being questioned. Twitter Circles is a feature that allows users to connect with one another on a more personal level. People can create circles of their friends, or people of similar interests, and follow their conversations and updates.
However, many users have noticed that the feature, while initially designed to be an interactive and exciting way to stay connected, may actually be broken. This is because of the issue of Circles being overly public. In a sense, anyone can join a Circle and start engaging in conversations that weren’t meant to be broadcast to the entire world. This has led users to believe that their conversations are no longer private, and that any potentially sensitive information might be made public without their intent.
Furthermore, the spread of automated bots on the platform has caused chaos in Circles, as often conversations are polluted with spam content. This can be frustrating for the people participating in the conversation, as well as the main users of the circle, who have to go through the hassle of moderating spam and offensive posts.
Finally, the many changes that have been made to the platform over the years, such as the layout and design, have made it difficult for users to create and manage circles. The process has become cumbersome and complicated, and many users just don’t want to deal with the hassle.
All of these issues have led some to believe that Twitter Circles might be broken. Unfortunately, until changes are made, it seems that the feature may remain in a broken state. If Twitter wants to keep users interested in their circles, they must make the necessary changes to make the feature more accessible, secure, and interactive. Otherwise, the feature might eventually be phased out.
