It’s no secret that the true story behind Tears of the Kingdom is surrounded in mystery. The kingdom of Greystone, the mysterious rulers and the Tears themselves are all shrouded in an invisible mist of myths and legends both fact and fiction.
Perhaps that’s why, even centuries after the kingdom was wiped from existence, people continue to draw inspiration from it. Authors, musicians, filmmakers, and even game developers have used the stories of Tears of the Kingdom as the basis for some of their work. This is no coincidence. The legend of Tears of the Kingdom has a richly layered and multi-faceted history, and has stood the test of time for hundreds of years.
So what’s really behind the myths and legends of Tears of the Kingdom? For some, it’s a mystery that still captures their imagination and draws them in. Others are just content to simply let the veil remain, using the story as a jumping off point for their own magical stories. Still others are drawn to the magical elements of Tears of the Kingdom, and want to uncover the secrets of its past.
Regardless, one thing is certain: the story of Tears of the Kingdom is still shrouded in mystery, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sure, it would be interesting to get some answers and have more conclusive proof of what actually happened in this far-off kingdom, but it is so much more enjoyable to just let the mystery remain and let the imagination run wild. That’s why I love it – Tears of the Kingdom is still shrouded in mystery, and that’s just the way I like it.
