The idea for the project came from Reddy’s personal experience of a Scottish hymn that she heard in church as a young girl. She was inspired to explore the intersection between Scotland’s traditional music and alien culture, creating a truly unique and interesting mixture.
Rhymer is made up of several distinct components: original Scottish ballads, cutting-edge electronica, minimalist strings, and the eerie vocal delivery of Reddy’s elf-like aliens.
