Chevy’s Blazer EV starts shipping, and the electric SUV will cost buyers a little extra

Chevy looks ready to make a statement with the introduction of the all-new Blazer EV, an electric sport utility vehicle that’s set to hit the market this Fall. The luxury electric SUV is packed with features, including a sleek and sophisticated design, and an array of advanced driver-assist technology. But buyers be warned, the Blazer EV won’t come cheap.

The Blazer EV is Chevy’s largest and most expensive plug-in electric vehicle to date. With an estimated MSRP starting at $62,000, the electric SUV will be the most expensive model in Chevy’s lineup. But despite its hefty price tag, Chevrolet is determined to make the Blazer EV a must-have item for die-hard electric vehicle fans.

The Blazer EV is powered by two battery packs – a 60 kWh and a 75 kWh – blended with a 3 motor all-wheel-drive system. This combination gives the electric SUV an amazing range of up to 450 miles, making it the longest range EV from Chevrolet yet. And for the tech-savvy, the Blazer EV is loaded with the latest advanced driver-assist systems, such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist.

The interior of the Blazer EV isn’t to be missed either. The SUV comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, heated and cooled front seats, and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. And for those who want something even more luxurious, there are also a variety of optional upgrades available.

The Blazer EV has big shoes to fill, given its hefty price tag. But with its sleek design, advanced driver-assist features, and class-leading range, Chevy’s electric SUV could be just what buyers are looking for in an EV. The Blazer EV is sure to turn some heads when it starts shipping this Fall, so hopefully the cost won’t be too much for those interested in taking the plunge.
