The DC Universe is always buzzing with crazy and exciting stories that have been making headlines. Latest news out of the DC universe is about the highly anticipated movie, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. This eagerly anticipated movie will be bringing together the super villainous team of the DC universe to tackle a mission that could mean the end of the Justice League.
The movie is being written and directed by Christopher Nolan, who made the Batman trilogy famous. The Suicide Squad is composed of some of the most powerful villains in the DC universe, such as, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Captain Boomerang. These villains, who were initially forced to join forces by Amanda Waller, will be taking on a mission of world-ending importance. That mission, you may ask? Killing the Justice League.
Last week, DC released the official trailer for Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League and the hype surrounding the movie has been building ever since. The trailer showed clips of the squad trying to take down Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Flash—and as we all expected, their attempt fails.
Now, Warner Bros. have finally announced the official release date for the movie. Fans will be able to watch the movie in the theaters starting 10 June 2021. While this news is great for Suicide Squad fans, it is also important to note that the release date could change due to the global pandemic.
In the meantime, Suicide Squad fans can catch up on one to the upcoming spinoff, The Suicide Squad, scheduled for release on August 6, 2021. To give us a better idea of what to expect from the movie, Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn, recently revealed that filming has begun.
In addition to the movies, Suicide Squad is getting its own videogame later this year. Warner Bros. Montreal is developing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and fans can expect the game to be out on the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One in 2022.
The DC universe is now becoming quite crowded with the introduction of new villains and heroes. Nonetheless, fans are still incredibly excited to see the Suicide Squad in action when Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League finally arrives.
