YouTube’s ‘enhanced’ 1080p for Premium subscribers is now available on desktop web

YouTube, the world’s biggest media streaming service, recently announced its ‘enhanced’ 1080p for Premium subscribers is now available on desktop web. The improved quality of video offers the users an unprecedented image clarity and a much better viewing experience.

The new upgrade of 1080p is not limited to desktop web, as the improved quality of resolution is also available in YouTube’s iOS and Android apps. 1080p featuring ‘high dynamic range’ (HDR) videos can now be better viewed on mobile devices.

The enhanced 1080p feature gives viewers a more vivid and vivid detail when watching videos on bigger screens such as computer monitors, TVs, tablets and smartphones. It brings the resolution of content up to a level where the image detail and colors can be seen much more clearly than before.

The upgraded resolution of 1080p gives viewers a superior visual experience in comparison to the standard 480p or 720p resolution. This gives the users the feeling that they are really living the videos, as it provides an extra dimension of realism that was previously not available when watching YouTube videos.

In addition to improving video quality on desktop web, YouTube is also offering premium subscribers exclusive access to Ultra HD (4K) content as part of the new package. The Ultra HD videos are available in 4K resolution which is four times better than standard 1080p resolution.
