The Marvel superhero Black Panther is soon to get his own video game. Recently, the announcement of a new Black Panther game, developed by The Wakanda Salute Collective, has had comic book fans and Black Panther fans buzzing. The game will focus on the Black Panther character and will follow his origins and his journey to the throne of Wakanda.
The trailer for the game shows off some stunning visuals and graphics, from the cliffs of the Wakanda Mountains to the futuristic tech and cities of Wakanda. Not much is known about the story behind the Black Panther game, but it looks to follow T’Challa’s story from his early days as a prince in Wakanda, his journey to the throne and his eventual conflict with Killmonger.
Players will be able to explore and battle their way through a number of environments and missions, while also customizing their own Black Panther avatar and equipment. Developers have highlighted the importance of player choice in the game, with each decision alterating the course of the game.
Apart from the visuals, the primary feature of the game is its combat system. Players will have access to a variety of weapons and attacks from Black Panther’s famous Vibranium cloth suit to battle their enemies. Players will also have access to Wakandan tech abilities, some of which are exclusive to Wakanda like the signature Black Panther roar.
The Black Panther game will also feature an online multiplayer mode wherein players can team up with each other and take on enemies and missions from all over Wakanda. Players will also be able to join forces with other Black Panther game players in the ultimate co-op experience.
