Meta Quest 3, the next installment in the critically acclaimed Meta Quest series, is finally on the horizon. After months of speculation, developer Iron Barrel Studios has finally revealed the release date of the highly anticipated RPG. Meta Quest 3 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and the Switch on October 22nd, 2021.
The third entry in the series continues the story of the protagonist, Marco, as he embarks on a new journey to save his world from the forces of corruption. Players will have access to new weapons, spells, and characters to use in battle and explore a variety of new environments in the game world. Additionally, Iron Barrel Studios has announced that the game will feature more choices than ever before with a branching story that will be determined by the player’s decisions and actions.
The combat system has also been drastically upgraded with a new revamp of the turn-based combat system. This includes new actions like dodging, blocking and counter-attacking against your enemies. The developers have also implemented a new skill tree that will allow players to customize their character’s abilities and strategies. They have also included a larger variety of party members to join and lead your party.
Along with all these updates, Iron Barrel has also revealed an extensive array of features that will be included in the game. These features include an online mode, co-op play, tournaments, and even a crafting system to customize your characters. Additionally, Meta Quest 3 will offer players both single-player and multiplayer content, something that was greatly lacking in the series’ previous entries.
Forging its own legacy, Meta Quest 3 is expected to raise the bar for technical and storytelling achievements, offering an immersive world with hours of entertainment. Pre-orders for the game are now open and Iron Barrel Studios have also confirmed that anyone who pre-orders the game will receive bonus content, including a special mount for Marco and exclusive in-game gear.
With its release date firmly set for October 22nd, 2021, anticipation for the RPG is at an all time high. Fans of the series and those looking for an inspiring and engaging RPG story should keep an eye out for Meta Quest 3. It certainly looks to be another classic in the series.
