Ride Home Fund, the Seattle-based self-driving vehicle start-up, has announced the launch of its new $15 million AI-driven vehicle, backed by prominent venture capitalists Andreessen, Dixon, and Crowley.

The new vehicle, called Messina, is designed to provide safe and low-cost rides home in cases of emergency, such as when people have had too much to drink and require transportation home. The vehicle will be able to recognize objects on the road, such as potholes, stop signs, and loose debris, and to maneuver around them safely.

In addition, Messina has been designed with advanced safety features to ensure the safety of its passengers. It has 360-degree radar systems to detect and avoid potential hazards, and a suite of cameras to monitor activity in all directions. The car also has an onboard computer to make key decisions about route and speed.

Ride Home Fund has raised $15 million in venture capital to support its efforts to build and launch Messina. The company’s investors include influential venture capitalists such as Andreessen, Dixon, and Crowley, who are well-known for their expertise in the tech industry.

The Messina car is expected to launch in the US later this year, though the exact date has not yet been disclosed. The company’s goal is to have at least five cars on the road in seven cities within a year.

Ride Home Fund’s Messina car is part of a broader shift toward more self-driving vehicles. The company hopes to become a leader in this field and to do its part to make sure that people have access to safe and reliable transportation in cases of emergency. Ride Home Fund believes that its AI-driven vehicle will provide better transportation options for those who are in need.
