If you’re a fan of the Star Wars universe, you have certainly been well aware of the recent news regarding the upcoming anthology book, Light of the Jedi. The newly announced book, written by Charles Soule, is set to pick up from where the novel trilogy’s last installment left off, as well as introducing several new characters and storylines.
One such character is a beloved Coruscant native, Dexter Jettster. Fans of the prequel trilogy will fondly remember the friendly café owner who helped Obi Wan Kenobi uncover a mystery. Now, they finally get the chance to explore Jettster’s backstory and learn more about his relationships and motivations.
In the book, Jettster serves as the deuteragonist, meaning that he is the second-most important character in the story. As such, he takes center stage for much of the plot, interacting with different characters and engaging in various side-plots that provide insight into the greater Star Wars galaxy.
Apart from giving fans more of what they know and love about Jettster, the book certainly does appear to honor his legacy. Beyond simply furthering his character development, Light of the Jedi also sets up his story to continue in future anthology books. This means that readers will undoubtedly be able to further follow his story in the near future.
Light of the Jedi is certainly looking to be an amazing journey into the Star Wars universe. With that being said, we can’t help but commend the book for truly doing Dexter Jettster justice!Considering his importance in the prequel trilogy, it is somewhat reassuring to know that he will still be in the public eye even after the events of that trilogy.
We can’t help but be excited at the prospect of learning more about Jettster and how he continues to influence the Star Wars universe. Without a doubt, Light of the Jedi will be a great addition to the Star Wars canon and we can’t wait to delve into it.
