The Fortnite Season 3 end date is finally here, and that means we’re just a few weeks away from the release of the highly anticipated new season, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. Players have already spent months scouring the map trying to uncover the secrets and map changes that the new season will bring.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will likely drop at the same time it usually does, which is usually at the end of the month. Epic Games has yet to confirm an official release date, but easy speculation puts the launch of Chapter 4 Season 4 on or around August 28th.
As for how Season 3 will end, Epic Games has teased some changes coming to the map in the form of a “final storm”. Players who complete all of the Storm Surge challenges will be rewarded with the “Avengers-themed” Omega skin. July 15th is the deadline to complete these challenges and get the skin.
The current season, Chapter 3 Season 3, has been going on since June. This season has been eventful with special events like the anniversary, a one-time-only live in-game event, and the “The End” event, which ushered in a brand-new black hole and the introduction of Epic’s new game “Chapter 2”.
With now-confirmed Chapter 4 Season 4 release date on the horizon, players have a few weeks left to join in on the last few challenges and make sure they get their Omega skin before the season ends.
