Meta Releases AI to Translate Dozens of Languages Using Speech and Text

As the world becomes increasingly connected, communication is becoming more important than ever. To help people communicate across language barriers, a major tech giant has released an artificial intelligence (AI) that can translate dozens of languages using speech and text.

Known as “Meta”, the AI was developed by Swedish software company, MetaMind. The program allows users to input speech or text in four different languages – English, Spanish, German, and French – and then translate the content into any of the dozens of other languages it supports. Meta will be made available to the public on both iOS and Android stores.

The innovative AI utilizes deep-learning algorithms to accurately translate between languages. Additionally, MetaMind has stated that the AI has been thoroughly tested and is able to provide a variety of different translations, such as everyday conversations, legal and medical terminology, and technical instructions. It will also be able to detect and correct grammar mistakes, making it more comprehensive than other language translation services available.

What sets this AI apart from the competition is its unique ability to easily translate between text and speech in various languages at once. MetaMind also suggests that it could be especially useful for online companies with users from all around the world, allowing them to communicate with greater ease.

The technology behind Meta is impressive, but it is not the only innovation within the rapidly growing field of machine learning. Many other tech companies have been developing AI programs to facilitate translation, as well offering other features such as facial and image recognition. However, MetaMind’s AI appears to be the most comprehensive option available for translating languages and has been receiving a lot of positive attention in the industry.

The release of Meta is an impressive milestone in the world of artificial intelligence. If all goes to plan, we may soon be able to communicate with each other in any language without the need for a translator or language course. Meta’s success could open the door for more AI programs to emerge in the future, giving us the opportunity to bridge language barriers and build a more connected world.
