The long-awaited Amazon Luna streaming gaming service has arrived. Amazon has now announced that its Luna app will be available on LG’s 2020 and 2021 smart TVs, allowing gamers to stream content from Luna’s game catalogue right onto their TVs.
The streaming service has been under development for some time, and now it has finally been made available on LG smart TVs. It is currently only available in the US, and it is available for all LG TVs that were released in 2020 and 2021.
The service gives gamers access to over 150 titles, with new titles being added regularly. You also get access to the Luna Starter Collection, which includes popular games such as, Control Ultimate Edition, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and Shadow of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition.
The Luna app appears in the apps section of the LG Content Store, and once you have downloaded the app, you can sign in with your Amazon account. Then, you will be able to explore the library of games and stream them right onto your TV.
Besides LG smart TVs, Amazon Luna is also available on web browsers, Amazon Fire TV devices, iPhone, and iPad. This allows gamers to play Amazon Luna games on any device that supports the service.
In the future, Amazon plans to launch its Luna Plus-level subscription, which will offer a larger library of games including titles from Ubisoft, ID@Xbox, and more. The Plus subscription will also support up to 4K resolution and 60 frames-per-second streaming.
Those are the details we have on Amazon Luna launching on LG smart TVs. It’s great to see the service expanding and more platforms being added to the mix. Whether you’re a fan of console gaming or streaming games, Amazon Luna has something for everyone.
