Today, T-Mobile has made waves in the telecom industry by announcing the launch of a $100 per month phone plan which outperforms any other top competitor’s highest-priced plan.
This new plan, which combines unlimited talk, text, and data, is the most expensive plan T-Mobile has released to date. However, the carrier is confident that it’s the best value on the market. According to T-Mobile CEO John Legere, the new package “delivers more for the same price as some of the top-tier plans from Verizon and AT&T.”
The $100 plan comes with a High-Speed Data Pack, which gives customers access to 15GB of 4G LTE speeds per month. Plus, for added value, the plan now includes free HD video streaming. Even more clutch: Customers now have unlimitedhotspot data.
While the new $100 plan is T-Mobile’s most expensive offering to date, it still falls short of the plans offered by Verizon and AT&T. AT&T’s top-tier plan, for instance, costs around $200. Verizon’s maximum plan clocks in at around $180.
Overall, the latest offering from T-Mobile is sure to be a breath of fresh air for consumers across the US. The company’s plan now provides more value than the competitors’ high-end packages, while still staying competitively priced. It’s no surprise that customers are already lining up to take advantage of the deal.
And, with even more competition entering the telecom market, the pressure is on AT&T and Verizon to step up their game. Only time will tell which carrier can really deliver the best value to their customers.
