Each kit includes everything needed to get the machines up and running again, making it easier for McDonald’s to get the machines back in action.
The kits have already been tested with success in some locations, and they are expected to be fully rolled out nationwide in the upcoming weeks. Customers around the country are eagerly waiting to have their favorite ice cream treat as soon as the repair kits become available.
McDonald’s has yet to comment on the issue or the iFixit repair kits, but some customers aren’t too thrilled. One customer pointed out that the machines have been down for months and that they shouldn’t have to pay for something McDonald’s should have taken care of in the first place.
