T-Mobile unveils $100 phone plan, topping AT&T and Verizon’s highest prices

T-Mobile has recently unveiled a $100 phone plan that will top AT&T and Verizon’s highest prices. The plan, called Magenta MAX, includes unlimited 4G LTE data, access to high-speed hotspots, and free international messaging and data access, essentially giving users a fully loaded package for a fraction of the cost typically charged by big-name carriers.

With the new plan, T-Mobile is looking to shake up the market by undercutting AT&T’s and Verizon’s highest-priced plans. Currently, AT&T and Verizon both offer their most expensive unlimited data plans for about $80 and $85 per line, while Magenta MAX offers users all of those features, plus some, for just $100 per line.

One of the unique features of Magenta MAX is the ability to access high-speed hotspots. While other carriers tend to have some sort of data cap on their plans, Magenta MAX gives users access to as many as 10GB of high-speed hotspot data each month. Additionally, the plan also gives users free international messaging and data access in more than 210 countries.

As if this weren’t enough, T-Mobile is also offering a loyalty program for customers who stick with the company for two or more years. With this loyalty program, customers can get up to $3 off for each line of service plan.

Clearly, T-Mobile is looking to provide a new, more cost-efficient option for customers. With Magenta MAX, customers can get access to all of the features they need, plus more, without having to pay the premium prices charged by AT&T and Verizon. It will be interesting to see if the big-name carriers decide to match T-Mobile’s price, or if consumers will continue to flock to the new plan.
