It’s official – ghosts are coming back to haunt our screens one more time. Yes, the confirmation has just come in that the incredibly popular British show “Ghosts” is returning for a third season.
The first season of “Ghosts”, which aired in 2020 on British television, quickly became a smash hit, with fans all over the world tuning in to the fun and creepy antics of the Haunting family. The show follows the lives of a group of spirits who have remained on Earth to torment the living, for reasons only known to them.
Now, with a third season on the way, we can all look forward to more of the ghostly shenanigans from our favorite supernatural squad. Executive producer Matthew Parkhill has confirmed that the upcoming season will focus on the haunting family’s ongoing mission to “scare the living”, but that the show will also explore various deeper topics related to life and death.
The third season of “Ghosts” will also feature some new characters. Most notably, we’ll be introduced to a mysterious new spirit called Augustus, who is stirring up all kinds of trouble. Parkhill also teased that other beings such as poltergeists and banshees will be joining the cast – so we can expect plenty of spine-tingling chills.
Although the exact premiere date of the third season hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s safe to assume that we can all look forward to more spooky fun from the Haunting family in the near future. We may not know when the third season will arrive, but one thing is for sure – the ghosts are returning to scare us all once more.
