Demons have been a part of Japanese culture since ancient times, and the Demon Slayer franchise has become one of the most popular anime series in the world. This December, Studio Ufotable released a new trailer for the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba movie, highlighting some of the most powerful demons in the series.
The movie will take place sometime after the events of the anime series, as Tanjiro and his friends battle against powerful demons known as the Twelve Kizuki (“Kibutsuki” in the original Japanese language). The teaser gives us a glimpse of these powerful monsters, from large giants to flying creatures. Among these demons is Rui, the shape shifting Upper Moon Three, and Enmu, the powerful Lower Moon Three. Other strong monsters featured in the trailer include the formidable Upper Moon Two, Gyomei Himejima, and the most terrifying of them all, the Lower Moon One, Akaza.
The trailer showcases some of the spectacular animation that Studio Ufotable is known for, as well as some of the intense action sequences of the series. It also reveals some of the exciting new additions to the movie, such as the “Final Selection” ritual, where the members of the Demon Slayer Corps must choose one out of 100 candidates to join them in the fight against the demons.
The new Demon Slayer movie is sure to be an entertaining and action-packed experience. From the powerful demons featured in the teaser to the exciting new additions to the movie, fans can look forward to an exciting and unique adventure. The movie will be released in Japan, as well as theatres in both the United States and Canada, in 2021. So get ready to slay some demons and save humanity from the age-old evil!
