Dead Island 2 release date, trailers, gameplay and news

Dead Island 2 was announced at Sony’s E3 presentation back in 2014. Since then fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of this highly anticipated zombie survival sequel. With no official announcement about the release date, it’s hard for us to know when the game will actually make its way to our consoles.

However, there have been numerous leaks about the upcoming game over the past few years, giving us a better idea of what we can expect from the hotly anticipated sequel.

As for the release date, Dead Island 2 is expected to be released sometime in 2020. While this is still unofficial, it’s likely that the game will make its way to shelves in the second half of the year.

In terms of gameplay, Dead Island 2 will follow the same formula as its predecessor. Players will fight through hordes of zombies using a variety of melee weapons and firearms. The game is supposed to feature a much larger and more varied open-world environment, allowing for more freedom of exploration much like games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V.

The game’s teaser trailers have only shown the game’s iconic style, with mostly dead characters in the horror style we’ve come to expect from the Dead Island franchise. As far as story is concerned, the game will feature four main protagonists, with players taking control of one of these characters at the onset of the game.

Dead Island fans are no doubt looking forward to digging into the sequel, as the developers at Techland promise plenty of new features in Dead Island 2. These include a new weapons crafting system, a tactical co-op mode, a four player simultaneous play, and much more.

In terms of news, the game’s official website is the first place to look for the latest updates on the game. The site offers a regularly updated blog, detailing the latest news and updates on the upcoming game.

When it comes to Dead Island 2, there’s plenty to be excited about. Expect the zombie survival sequel to hit stores sometime in 2020. Be sure to keep an eye on the official website for all the latest news, trailers and other updates related to Dead Island 2.
