TwitchCon 2023 says goodbye to San Diego

TwitchCon 2023 has officially said goodbye to San Diego and hello to the city of Chicago. The organizers of the two-day event, which is slated to take place in October of this year, made the announcement earlier today.

According to the TwitchCon organization, the reasoning behind the change of venue is due to an increase in the cost of hosting the event in San Diego. This is the first time in seven years that TwitchCon will be taking place outside of San Diego, but the organizers remain confident that the Windy City will be a capable host.

The move to Chicago may come as a surprise to longtime attendees, but organizers are hopeful that the City of Big Shoulders will be able to provide the energy and scenery to make the event memorable. With numerous venues, plenty of attractions and a famous nightlife, Chicago promises to provide attendees with an unforgettable experience.

Fans of the TwitchCon event have plenty to look forward to. The event will feature a number of events, including the traditional keynote talks, the TwitchCon Cookout, meet and greets, live streams and more. This year’s event will also feature the introduction of a virtual ticket, allowing gamers around the world to participate in the event without having to travel.

Organizers plan on unifying the gaming community from across the world by emphasizing face to face connections, competitive tournaments and educational seminars. The goal for this event is to bring together people from all walks of life and unite them through the power of gaming.

TwitchCon 2023 looks to be an event you won’t want to miss. If you’re planning on attending, make sure to book your tickets soon. We can’t wait to see everyone in Chicago!
