Respected readers,
Recently, Tesla has come under investigation from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) following reports of two Model Y vehicles having their steering wheels fall off. This has been a worrisome development for Tesla and its customers, and many are interested in finding out more information on the matter.
The information was first reported by ABC7, a San Francisco Bay Area news station. The news station reported that two Model Y vehicles experienced similar issues in separate incidents. Both vehicles were driving down State Route 4 near Clovis, California, when the drivers noticed their steering wheels had come loose and were bouncing around inside the cars.
The first incident occurred on April 1st, when a driver experienced the same issue at 60 miles per hour. Fortunately, the driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle and safely pull over. The driver then contacted ABC7 and informed them of the issue.
The second incident happened the following day, on April 2nd, when a different driver experienced the same issue at 70 miles per hour. The driver safely pulled over and called for assistance. It is not yet known if the same part failed in both incidents.
Since the reports, the NTSB has opened an investigation into the matter. They will be using physical examinations and laboratory testing to determine the cause of the steering wheel issue. The NTSB is also investigating similar incidents reported across the country in various Tesla models.
Tesla has released a statement regarding the investigation but has not yet provided any detailed information. They have assured customers that they are investigating the matter and that the safety of their customers is their highest priority.
It is not yet known how this incident will affect Tesla in the long run. However, the news has been met with much concern from the public, and many are eager to find out more information on the matter.
We will be sure to keep you updated as the investigation continues.
Thank you.
