When it comes to Chromebooks, consumers want performance, portability, good battery life, and a gorgeous design. Unfortunately, it’s not often that we get all of these features in the same laptop. Some Chromebooks may have nice designs, but lack proper battery life. Others may have great battery life, but have sluggish performance and an unremarkable design.
It doesn’t have to be this way. We should expect better when it comes to Chromebooks. If companies can make a stunning laptop that performs well and lasts all day, then why shouldn’t they?
To be fair, there is a wide range of options when it comes to Chromebooks. Some of them boast impressive 13-inch displays, some feature decent processors, and others come bundled with plenty of RAM and storage. You can find all of these features in one Chromebook, or two separate models.
The problem is that when we look at the specs, the battery is always an afterthought. Sure, you can get a few hours of battery life on a good day, but that’s still not enough for the average user. Moreover, most Chromebooks with powerful processors tend to have shorter battery life, making them impractical for mobile usage.
I believe that companies should focus on making Chromebooks with better battery life. Smartphones and tablets can last an entire day without needing to be charged, so why can’t Chromebooks do the same? With better battery life and a gorgeous design, Chromebooks can become the perfect device for both work and leisure.
It’s time that companies start creating Chromebooks that don’t leave us disappointed due to their subpar battery performance. We’ve all wasted enough time reviewing Chromebooks with poor battery life, and it’s time for a change.
