He is best known for his work in a variety of iconic films and TV shows, including John Wick, Resident Evil, The Wire, Destiny 2, and more.
Lance Reddick was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1962. He began his career as an actor with a role in a regional theater production of King Lear in 1984. After a few more regional theater roles, Reddick made his television debut in 1996 as Detective Ed Green on Law & Order.
Reddick gained mainstream fame after playing Cedric Daniels on HBO’s The Wire. He also starred in the hit films John Wick, John Wick: Chapter 2, and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, as the mysterious character known only as the ‘Continental Manager’. Erwin Harker in Resident Evil, and Sgt. Foley in Destiny 2.
In addition to his acting career, Reddick was also a talented photographer and painter. His artwork was displayed at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. and the Smithsonian African American Museum of History and Culture in New York City.
