Patton Oswalt and Rachael Leigh Cook are entering into a new world of superhero noir. NO/ONE is an upcoming movie which tells the story of a washed-up superhero and a street-wise thief who join forces to take down the city’s corrupt crime world.
Oswalt, best known for his roles as the voice of Remy from Ratatouille and as Koenig from Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., will take on the role of the titular hero, No/One. The character is a former A-list celebrity who lost his fame and fortune in a public scandal and has since been hiding out in the dark alleyways of the city. He must now find his way back to the top by relying on his superhuman strength and his wit.
Cook, of She’s All That and She’s Out Of My League fame, will play the role of a streetwise thief who takes No/One under her wing to teach him the ropes of crime-fighting. The two will form an unlikely duo, breaking into the city’s dens of iniquity and taking on villains in a bid to take down the city’s underworld.
The movie promises to be a thrilling action-packed feature, with a unique blend of the classic noir movie aesthetic and the more modern superhero genre. It looks set to deliver a fast-paced, gritty story with an interesting twist.
The film is currently in production and is set for a theatrical release in late 2021. With a great cast, compelling plot and unique style, NO/ONE looks set to be a great addition to the superhero genre. Fans of both Oswalt and Cook are sure to be in for a thrilling ride.
